The Night Cannot Hold You is a deeply emotional journey. The title song was composed by Dr G in a single, grief fueled night as he mourned the loss of a dear, old friend, and all of the songs have significant emotional impacts. The songs have been composed over a period stretching back to 2003. Some of the songs, such as “All My Roads Lead to You” were composed originally for Indie directors looking for particular themes and feelings for their songs; in that particular case, the director was looking for the theme song for a ROM-COM. Some of the songs were for Gospel services such as “Higher Mountain,” and some were just compositions that are a regular part of the group’s creative journey such as “Pressus Noctis.”
