Each of the songs on the album has a story behind it, and we are
glad to share those stories with you. The album tells the story of two
people that loved each other very much, but something derailed that
love, and they just could not seem to make it work.
Track 1 - Warm Summer Love - (4:00) - This song is an homage
to my daughters. They have all confessed that they prefer the
soft, warm, nurturing love like a warm summer rain over the
passion of the lightning and the flood. In prerelease feedback,
this was our fans’ favorite song. We think that you will love it.
Track 2 - Do You Ever Call My Name? - (3:30) - Our couple
wonders from a far if their love still calls their name. The love is
gone, but not forgotten. For anyone who has ever loved and lost,
this song speaks to you.
Track 3 - Show Me a Sign - (3:00) - They both still love each
other, but neither is willing to reach out and make it clear to the
other. Each of them is waiting for the other to be the one to
show them a sign.
Track 4 - Two Lost Souls - (3:17) - The two could have been a
love story for history, but they never got their timing right. They
loved others two and hurt each other in the process. Even if they
had gotten together, would it have worked?
Track 5 - Heart Shaped Scar - (4:38) - Eventually, you move on.
You have your love scars, but they are part of what defines you.
