About the Songs
Dance Floor Brawl Growl Version - this is a dance song with a growling base and an
evoling melody line. Enjoy showing your stuff out on the dance floor, dancing to this
lead song.
Silversands Stomp Stomp - this is a variation on our song, Silver Sands. It has come
out in five variations. This is the dance version. It was composed while on a trip to
Corpus Christi, Texas. Enjoy!
Kiss Me Now I Want Your Disease - we did a Folk, Dance, and a Classical version of
this song. This is a new version of the dance variation. It has been a fan favorite.
Homage to Deep Forest - One of my favorite, niche bands was Deep Forest. I have not
heard one of their songs in years, but I still love the old album. Deep Forest, you may be
gone, but you are not forgotten.
Silversands Coastal Bend - This was composed while at Corpus Christi, Texas at a
hotel on the Coastal Bend. The basics of the bass, beat, and melody came out during
the trip, but this one took a lot of care in the studio. We enjoyed creating it, and we
hope that you like it.
Hallo La Paz - this was composed in anticipation of a trip to La Paz, Bolivia. We were
diverated to Santa Cruz at the last minute and had a great trip. The music scene in
Santa Cruz was amazing. For all our fans, but our Bolivian ones in particular.
Holiday Shopping - Holiday shopping can be exciting and fun with some heavy
emotional content, just like this song. Enjoy.
In the Arms of a Stranger You Wait - This is dedicated to all of our lost loves. We wish
you well in your new lives, but there are times when we all think of you.
My Little PoPo - This started as a rap/hip hop number with the words, “she is my little
Po Po, my LE, my 5-0.” Some day we will release the vocal version. In the mean time,
enjoy the instrumental version.
Sunset in Gaza - Dr G & the Range Shadows make music for a variety of reasons, and
we are emotionally invested in current history. We were deeply affected by the war in
Gaza, and this song was our way of processing it.
Elsewhere - Like the song, In the Arms …, this song is dedicated to loves who are
elsewhere. They could be family, friends, or lovers, but whoever you are or were, we
miss you. You probably have similar people in your life. Enjoy!
Bunny Breakbeat - This is a fun little song. Imagine a floppy earred bunny dancing to it
as you listen. See, that is fun.
