In particular the site points you to opportunities for continuing education and Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification. As a member, your CAP certification is discounted. The site an extensive list of secondary education institutions that offer both in person and online education. The INFORMS Mentor Match Program is a benefit just for members. This online tool helps you find and connect with others, and gives you a suggested program to follow with your mentor. As a member, you will have the opportunity to present papers and pitches at INFORMS meetings and conferences as part of your professional development. INFORMS offers on-site professional development courses for you and your organizations. As a member of INFORMS at large and as a part of the various sub- groups, specializing in particular applications of Operations Research or Management Science, you will be added to the email lists. These are quite useful, and every day you will see new opportunities to interact with members. Not infrequently, there are also job offerings posted through these fora. As a member you can attend conventions and gatherings of INFORMS members. The annual INFORMS conference sees thousands of professionals attending and hundreds of presentations. The INFORMS Speaker Program provides you access to excellent speakers who are experts in operations research and analytics. The INFORMS Student Union brings together a wide range of information and resources for students considering or pursuing degrees in O.R. and Analytics and with their entry into these exciting professions.
